There’s a good chance you like beer… or cider, or both. Still with me? If so, there’s an even better chance you like Little Creatures beers, or you would if you tried them. Little Creatures is one of Australia’s fastest growing brewers and it’s for good reason. A trip to Fremantle on the Western Coast has long been incomplete without a visit to the Brewery where it all began.
The White Rabbit brewery set up in Healesville, Victoria back in 2009 and it’s well worth a visit. While White Rabbit keeps things in the ‘Little’ family, it’s only recently us Victorians scored a Little Creatures of our very own.
If you’re heading out West towards the Great Ocean Road over Easter, you have a new reason to stop in Geelong. In an old red brick textile mill from the 1920’s, lays the new eastern home of Little Creatures. The site doubles their capacity for beer production and has all the character and style these guys are famous for. There’s a craft market and canteen and of course, many an ale to be enjoyed.
Make it a stop on your next Localing tour.
