Today we launch a new tour in conjunction with Melbourne Urban Adventures, ‘Fitzroy Fringe: Crime & Counter Culture in the Heart of Fitzroy.’ It’s three hours packed full of great stories from Melbourne’s coolest suburb. We’ve designed it with locals and frequent visitors to Melbourne in mind. It will run as a group tour twice weekly (Wednesdays and Fridays) but is available as the basis of a private tour whenever you’re in town or in the mood.
On a Fitzroy Fringe tour you learn about Mary McKillp & Squizzy Taylor, the gold rush and the bohemian boom of the 80’s and 90’s. We eat and drink and get schooled on local beers at iconic local pubs. We visit a gourmet food van that’s still a local secret and drink cocktails with the cool kids on Smith Street where it’s all happening. You get to meet the crazy cats behind the city’s strangest retail stores and visit full blown street art galleries hidden in the back streets.
The Fitzroy Fringe Tour has it all and we’ll be running an exclusive preview for our followers this Saturday at the discounted rate of $50 per person down from $75. Kick off is at 2:30pm and spaces are limited to 12. Get in touch with us now to avoid disappointment.
